Cartographic Animation

Cartographic animation is a form of dynamic visualization that can be used to depict the re-enactment of complex phenomena. (ESRI). The animation is a way of depicting change over time. Examples include from changes in per capita income or population density to total number of internet users. Cartographic animations are useful for depicting the deformation caused by a map projection.
