Remote Sensing (KML)

Remote sensing is used to identify, observe, and measure an object without coming in direct contact with it. This involves measuring wavelengths of radiation reflected or emitted from these objects. This image shows the levels of light pollution across the United States. The brightest areas on the image are the most urbanized, but not necessarily the most populated.
